In and Out Project Coordinator — Youth Disability Advocacy Service

  • Melbourne (Wurundjeri Country), with work from home. Some rural travel may be involved.
  • 0.6 FTE (3 days/week), negotiable - with flexible working hours.
  • SCHADS Award Level 5.1 - $99,325.36 p.a. pro-rated.
  • Fixed contract until 30 June 2025 with potential for renewal.

Lead a project to improve the intake and discharge processes of mental health services in rural and regional Victoria. You will supervise a team of 8 disabled young co-designers from rural and regional Victoria with lived experience of mental health, supporting them to improve mental health accessibility.

Finance, Administration and Facilities Officer — Youth Affairs Council Victoria

  • Melbourne (Wurundjeri Country), with partial work from home. Some rural travel may be involved.
  • 1.0 FTE (38 hours a week), 5 days a week.

  • SCHADS Award Level 4.1 - 4.2 ($86,822.77 - $89,091.29 p.a. pro rated)
  • This is a permanent, ongoing contract.

Support our Head of Corporate Services and Head of YACVic Rural with finance tasks such as processing transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with financial reporting and budgeting. In this role, you will also provide general administrative support, management of office facilities, and handling equipment transitions for staff.

Advocacy Manager (Policy and Communications)

  • Melbourne (Wurundjeri Country), with partial work from home. Some rural travel may be involved.
  • 1.0 FTE (38 hours a week), 5 days a week (negotiable).

  • SCHADS Award Level 6.1 - 6.2 ($108,517.72 - $110,908.76 p.a. pro rated)
  • This is a fixed term 12-month contract, with potential for renewal dependent on performance and funding. 

Lead the team that is responsible for identifying and pursuing advocacy on existing and emerging issues for young people and undertaking research to inform the development of YACVic’s policy positions. You will provide strategic leadership on media and communications projects and campaigns. This position undertakes significant government relations work and often represents YACVic at high-level meetings.
