The YACVic Rural Youth Awards are Victoria’s opportunity to shine a spotlight on the young people leading change in rural and regional Victoria.

Join us at our Awards Ceremony to celebrate the incredible, important work of young people and the youth sector in these communities.

What to expect

It will be held in the Queens room at the stunning Parliament House on Thursday 26 September, from 12 PM - 3 PM.

Catering and drinks will be provided, as well as live entertainment.

The ceremony will feature all of the finalists and announce the award winners across these categories:

  • Young person leading change in rural or regional Victoria
  • Youth worker making a difference in rural or regional Victoria
  • Outstanding youth project promoting diversity and inclusion in rural or regional Victoria
  • Outstanding youth participation in mental health and wellbeing
  • Outstanding youth participation in community-based disaster resilience
  • Young people producing outstanding content in a media or social media environment

There will be an additional Young People’s Choice Award voted on by YACVic's young members.

Winners will receive a $1000 donation or gift.
